Miley Cyrus won 6 awards at Teen Choice 2009, no surprise since she won all 3 categories, choice music single for “The Climb”, comedy TV actress and comedy TV show for "Hannah Montana”, 3 years in a row. Miley performed her new single, “Party in the USA”, which caused a little controversy while she held on to a pole attached to a ‘Miley’s Ice Cream’ cart. It was nothing more than dancing onstage and putting on a fun and different performance, but since it is Disney star Miley Cyrus, parents were critical that is was a bad influence on their children. Although Miley signed on for a 4^th season of “Hannah Montana” her career is also steering towards an older audience; she is starring as a rebellious teen in Nicholas Sparks’ “The Last Song”.
