Every event on television seems to have its shining moment that viewers remember the most.
Well, the MTV Movie Awards definitely had its moment: Kanye West claiming that Beyonce has the best music video with the mic that he grabbed out of Taylor Swift's hand as she was accepting her award for Best Female video.

Other than that, the show seemed to run fairly smoothly. There were performances by Beyonce, Pink, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Jay-Z, Muse, Green Day, The All-American Rejects, Pitbull, and 30H!3. Janet Jackson also opened the show with a tribute to her late brother and king of pop, Michael Jackson.
