Recently, I stumbled on an online rant bashing Kanye West's blog. On the website strangerdance.com, author: Vague Panther, described Kanye as "absolutely insane" and declaring his blog "the worst music blog on the face of the planet". Curious, I decided to check out this apparently reowned blog. First off the graphics were amazing. Without reading the negative rant, I thought Kanye's blog would be about what he's doing in the studio, who he would like to go on tour with, and upcoming events like performing on Saturday Night Live or being on Oprah. Reading his blog, however, I agreed with Vague Panther to an exent. It was more like CraigsList with a different format than a musician's blog. I disagree with the fact that he's getting negative comments because he felt like sharing a photo of a chair. A blog is basically an online notebook and who are we to judge what they put in it? Just because he's a musician doesn't necessarily mean all he wants to talk about is music. What do you guys think of both sides?
