Rap artist Jay-Z criticizes the artists who overly use auto-tune in their songs. The song D.O.A. stands for the death of auto-tune, and it has caught the attention of many hip hop artists. According to the song Jay-Z believes that the usage of auto-tune takes away from the true meaning of rap music. Artists such as T-Pain are mentioned in the song: "You niggas singin' too much, Get back to rap you T-Pain’n too much".
