The world-acclaimed, Olympic champion, Michael Phelps is unhurt after an accident in Baltimore yesterday. He was the driver of the SUV and collided with another driver at the intersection of traffic lights. While he was unhurt, the other driver is reportedly hurt. The details are not clear yet but police have reported that alcohol was not involved with Phelps in this accident. This is a sigh of relief for Phelps' sponsors and his fans as he's been in troublesome incidents in the past. The marijuana incident in the beginning of 2009 and the DWI (driving while influenced) after his Olympic victory in 2004. Hopefully he stays out of his trouble and instead continues presenting America in 2012 Olympics of London. He is a owner of 16 medals and a record-setting 8 gold medals in one Olympic event. He did it in a flashy fashion as he set world records for every swimming event and out-swam Serbia's Milorad Cavic by one-hundredth of a second.
