With the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, and snowboarding season right around the corner, the United States is gearing up in hopes dominating the game that it created. Shaun White, the favorite for the winter games has been training relentlessly in Oregon’s summer time snowboard heaven, Mt. Hood. After being defeated by Kevin Pearce for the second time in a row at Burton’s European Open, White has begun working on tricks never before seen in the snowboarding world in preparation for an intense season of competition. With a four man roster led by White for their snowboarding team, the US will be a dominant force this year at the Olympics, with the ability to choose between other professional riders like Scotty Lago, Louis Vito and Mason Aguirre. Its time to do the snow dance and grab your boards because this year is going to be one for the records as snowboarding comes and sweeps North America.
