Check out this wicked video of rotoscoped breakdancers. In case you don't know what rotoscoping is, it is an animation technique in which the person traces over the live action film movement, frame by frame. This technique was created by Max Fleischer in 1915. Rotoscoping reallly took off when Disney used the technique for many of its films, such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Cinderella. Since then, rotoscoping has been used as a tool for visual effects in live action movies and is still used to create animations. So if you're artistic and into breakdancing, try making rotoscopes of people breakdancing.
