Before I make a review of Grand Theft Auto 4: The Ballad of Gay Tony, I must clearify the fact that the topic of homosexuality is not projected in anyone influencial way in this game. This game does not have negative stereotypes that would make the story seem trashy nor does it contain any message of a pro-gay society. Whether or not you are ok with homosexuality, it will not impact your morals and principles when playing this game.
Anyway, this new DLC for GTA 4 isa great installment that stays true to the series.
This edition introduces Luis Lopez, the bodyguard and "partner" of club owner "Gay" Tony Prince. The club business overtime starts to crumble and Prince ends up owing money to several dangerous men and going into a drug habit. Now it is up to Luis to settle these debts and save the clubs from going bankrupt and getting shot up.
The character customization is more enriched than the previous DLC "The Lost and Damned"; similar to the original GTA 4. Several new weaponary and cars are introduced into the game, including the return of the Tank and the Bullet. Just a warning: the Tank sucks; it's a moving shotgun that is a bit stronger than your average shotgun. Also making a return to the series is the parachute; this can make for a very fun and adventurous gameplay that can make for more ways to have fun.
Still, the aiming is not exact and the game is only slightly longer than the first DLC. You may be so involved in the story that you will wonder what the hell just happened once you credits start rolling. This DLC is still an enjoyable game to play and it will satisfy any GTA fan.
