FINALLY, the date has been set for the next Splinter Cell game. Sam Fisher will return on February 23, 2010 in Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction. This would be the second time Ubisoft Montreal has changed things up with the gameplay and storymode. The previous game, Double Agent, presented Fisher as a double agent who's choices can heavily effect the outcome of the story with such choices as deciding whether or not to set a bomb in cruise liner or killing your own boss to appease the enemies.
In this next installment, it has been a few years since Double Agent and Sam has resigned from Third Echelon. Without orders or limitions, Sam goes on a hunt for his daughter's killer. This simple search for a supposedly DUI killer turns into a quest to uncover a conspiracy.
Although he lacks his trademark gear and maneuvers, Sam uses his own knowledge and power to his liking. This installment looks to be darker and deadlier than its preceding games.Still, this looks to be the biggest Splinter Cell to ever come out.
I sure a s hell know what gift i'm going to demand for my birthday next year.
