Midtown Cafe: Lysee

Located in the heart of New York City, Lysee is a sophisticated café that offers a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle. Its interior resembles the cafes located in South Korea. With wood accents and a vintage bookshelf, it invites customers to enjoy fresh brewed coffee and Asian-inspired desserts. 

I got the best seller “Corn” consisting of a corn flavor mousse under a thin shelled crust. The taste brought a unique experience to my American taste buds. I also ordered the signature “Lysee” which was shaped as the Chinese dessert, mooncake. I would describe the taste as a nutty caramel.
